At Premier Nephrology Consultants, Dr. Amina Ahmed, who is a highly trained, board certified, experienced, and dedicated Nephrologist, is available to provide high quality care for various kidney diseases.

Amina J. Ahmed, M.D.
Dr. Amina J. Ahmed is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
She graduated with Honors from Dow Medical College, Karachi in 1986.
She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She then pursued her Nephrology fellowship at the prestigious University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.
Upon completion of the Nephrology fellowship, she additionally obtained a fellowship in Transplant Nephrology at St. Vincent Medical Center / USC.
Awards and Honors
Dr. Ahmed was voted "Houston's Top Doc" in Nephrology in 'H' magazine in 2008.
She was formerly the Chief of Nephrology at Christus St. Catherine Hospital.
